Kansas Non Slip Floor

The technical term for non slip floor coatings is Coefficient of Friction or COF.  We use custom size polypropylene mixed in with our polyurea to create non skid flooring for both residential and commercial applications.

Polypropylene has a few significant benefits.

• Adjustable COF - Every floor has a different use. A high traffic commercial kitchen may require a 40 grit surface while in a residential garage 80 grit. We mix the particles in our coating rather than a topical broadcast. As the floor wears over a period of years the COF does not. Non Slip added to the surface will dislodge and become slippery over time. This process will require a recoat while our system will endure for many years.
• Clean, Healthy, No Bacteria Growth- If the non slip aggregate applied is a mineral, your floor will become perpetually dirty. Minerals are porous absorbing dirt, grease, oils and fats. Aggressive cleaning, the obvious solution, does even more damage by opening the pores.  Polypropylene is non porous. Floors stay clean perpetually. Lack of porosity means bacteria growth in the surface is minimized. This is ideal for commercial kitchens, restaurants, medical, kennels and cafeterias.
